“When I was born, 1984, um, my Dad left when I was like 6 months old and my Mum had to do everything on her own and we were like 4 kids and I was the baby…”
On his passion for drama…
“People can define me …. But when I’m on stage… I can be anyone I wanted to be and do it in the best of ability that I want and within that moment, when you start acting…. everything about yourself disappears… that rush of freedom, yes!
“So, I needed to be independent from a very young age and I’ve blamed her [mother] for a lot of things, but now that I’m older, I realize that if it wasn’t for all of that, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. So now, life has put me in a situation where I can either look after or just give up”.
“For me, love is just the glue that connects everything together, that connects loyalty, that connects respect to one another, that connects being in that comfort zone, helping hand to one another, that connects trust, that connects honesty…”
What does the world need more of?
“I think the world needs is humanity, for the world to move closer to one another and say irrespective of your difference and your uniqueness, whether you are able or disable, whether you are functional or disfuctional, it doesn’t matter”.
